A Little Bit About Me
Writing has always been a passion of mine. I always excelled in English in high school and flunked at mathematics. I always knew I wanted to major in something involved writing, but I just didn't know what until I spent a summer at USC with their summer program for high school students. I did it the summer before my senior year of high school. I took psychology because I thought that would be interesting and at the time I thought I would want to write about those kind of topics, or maybe even become a psychologist. After realizing how complex the subject is I decided just to pursue journalism. When I came to Miami I was excited to get going on my Journalism career. At the end of my freshman year I realized I didn't want to double major in Psychology, I wanted to double in something health related, so I decided on Health Studies. I would love to write for a magazine like Shape or Women's Health or even the Health and Fitness section of the New York Times. At the beginning of this year I started writing for my school newspaper and for Up Magazine- a new fashion magazine on campus. I love it, it doesn't feel like a chore for me.
I have loved every moment at Miami. I have amazing friends, I am a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. I love being involved, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else! My Interests
